Pro Mode Menu Options

Most functionality for the application can be configured within the application using the Main Menu. In Pro Mode, additional options are available.

Edit Page 2 Fields

In Pro Mode a second page of data metrics is available. During your Activity, press Next or Previous, or swipe up / down on touchscreen devices to switch between pages. Page 2 contains 6 configurable fields just like page 1. Each activity contains independent field settings for both page 1 and page 2 that you can customize.

HR Zone Alarms

This menu option is a toggle switch. When enabled, the activity will signal a vibration alarm whenever your heartrate zone changes (up or down)

Alarms

This menu option is a toggle switch. When enabled, the activity will signal a vibration alarm using a time-based interval (see the next menu option)
When this option is enabled, another option below it becomes available: Time Interval.

Note: When disabled, Time Interval is hidden. After enabling Alarms, exit the menu and launch it again to configure Time Interval

Time Interval

This menu option specifies the frequency at which you wish to be notified during your workout with a vibration alarm
Selecting this option opens a Number Picker. Specify the number of Hours : Minutes : Seconds you wish between notifications

Automatic Laps

This menu option is a toggle switch. When enabled, the activity will signal a vibration alarm using a distance-based interval (see the next menu option)
When this option is enabled, another option below it becomes available: Lap Distance.

Note: When disabled, Lap Distance is hidden. After enabling Automatic Laps, exit the menu and launch it again to configure Lap Distance

Lap Distance

This menu option specifies the frequency at which you wish to be notified during your workout with a vibration alarm
Selecting this option opens a Number Picker. Specify the distance you wish between notifications.

Note: For most activities the distance displayed will be in either Miles or Kilometers, depending on the default Units configuration you have specified on your Garmin device. For the Rowing Activity this is an additional option displayed between Automatic Laps and Lap Distance: Use Meters

Use Meters

Most users prefer to report Lap Distance for Rowing activities in Meters, rather than miles or kilometers. For this reason there is an override switch present when the Activity is set to Row Indoors. When the Use Meters toggle is enabled, default Units for the Lap Distance selection will be force to Kilimeters. When specifying Lap Distance with the Number Picker, specity the distance in Km. i.e. 0.50km for 500 Meters. After selection the menu will display the Lap Distance in Meters.

Set Dynamic Mode

Pro Mode supports the option to specify a dynamic workout profile (i.e. 'Intervals' etc.) during your workout. There are 8 customizable Dynamic Profile configuration slots available, and each Activity Type can be assigned any one of the profiles (or Manual for no profile assignment) that will actively manage the settings of your trainer during the workout. Speed, Inclination, and Resistance values can be programmed to dynamically vary during your workout.

For a more detailed explanation of Dynamic Profiles, see the Pro Mode Features page detailing this operation.
